Michelle has been working on environmental justice issues since she was a freshman in high school. She started off attending No Coal in Oakland protests and gained a passion for air quality, especially in Oakland. To her, climate change is a growing concern not only in the environment, but in our communities. She is working with YVA to  not only fight the climate crisis, but to prepare and encourage the next generation of climate leaders.
