Who is Nio?

Nio Gonzalez started their commitment to activism in high school by starting clubs and supporting local grassroots organizations in Los Angeles and Orange County. They believe that climate injustice comes hand in hand with every other injustice under the system that upholds white elitist standards. If we are to achieve climate justice we must also liberate every other form of injustice in the same stroke. I work with YVA because they understand the importance of this concept as well as the weight of including youth in our march to collective liberation.
